Training Types
A session uses six exercise types. They alternate automatically so a word is reinforced from several angles: recognition, spelling, listening, speech and context. Two types are core and always run; the other four can be switched on and off in training settings.
Translation selection
The app shows a word and you pick the correct translation out of four options. Trains fast recognition of the word-translation pair. A core type, always enabled.

Spelling
The app shows the translation and you assemble the word or phrase from letters. Trains spelling and active recall. If the letters will not come together, a hint reveals the first one.

Memory
The app shows a word with its transcription and audio and asks whether you remember the translation. You answer "I remember" or "I don't remember", and the algorithm schedules the next review from that. The second core type, also always enabled.

Listening
The word is only heard: the app says it and you pick the translation out of four options. The speaker button plays it again. If you cannot listen right now, tap "Can't listen now" and the word appears in writing. Teaches you to recognise a word by ear. An easy type, on by default.

Speech
You say the word out loud in the language you are learning: you hold the microphone button and the app compares what you said with the word. The hardest type, it builds pronunciation and confidence in speaking. It is off by default and is switched on in training settings; the exercise itself can be skipped.

Missing word
One word is hidden in a sentence in the language you are learning, and you pick it from four options. The sentence has a "Show translation" button. Teaches you to understand a word in context rather than on its own.

Which type comes when
You never pick a type by hand: the app walks every word around the circle of types and continues from the one it stopped at last time. Sentences for the context exercises come from the examples on the card, so different words end up with different tasks.
