A personal dictionary for new words that reminds you to review them
Came across a word in a show, a book or at work? Save it to VibeLing in a couple of seconds. The translation and examples fill in on their own, and the list never turns into a forgotten note: every word goes into a review schedule.
What the dictionary does
Save in a couple of seconds
Type a word or phrase and the translation, pronunciation, examples and audio fill in on their own. You can write your own translation too.
Tags and search
Sort words into coloured tags — Work, Series, Trip — and find what you need with search. A tag can go on many words at once.
Progress for every word
See whether a word is being learned, reviewed or mastered, how far along it is and when the next review comes.
More than a list
The dictionary turns itself into practice: words come back when they start to fade. Mark the ones you already know and they stay out of the way.
How to keep it
-
Came across an unfamiliar word? Open VibeLing and type it in.
-
Check the card and add the word to your dictionary — with a tag if you like.
-
Review for 5–10 minutes a day: the dictionary tells you which words need a refresh.
A dictionary for each language
Learning several languages? Each one gets its own dictionary and its own progress.
Questions and answers
Why is this better than a notebook or phone notes?
In a notebook a word just stays a note. In VibeLing it comes with a translation, examples and pronunciation, and the app reminds you to review it before you forget it.
Can I write my own translation?
Yes. If the suggested translation doesn’t fit, write your own — your edits are never overwritten.
Will I lose my dictionary when I change phones?
Your dictionary is kept in your account on the server, not only on the phone. To open it on another device, connect that device with a code from the app.
Can I keep dictionaries for several languages?
Yes, each language has its own dictionary and progress. Learning several languages at once is part of Pro.
Is the dictionary available on a computer?
Yes, in the web version: the same dictionary opens in your browser, and you can link it to the app with a code.
