Vibeling inside your AI assistant
Connect your vocabulary to ChatGPT, Claude or any other assistant that supports MCP. Ask it in plain words — it adds words, sorts them and keeps you on track with reviews.

What the assistant can do
Add words
Send a word from a lesson, a book or a series — it lands in your vocabulary with translation, examples and a picture. Several meanings? The assistant asks which one.
Sort with tags
Create tags, put words in them in bulk, rename or remove them. “Show my Lesson 5 words” just works.
Build collections
Collections with categories inside: “Travel → Airport, Hotel, Restaurant”. The assistant can create one and fill it for you.
Know what to review
Words due for review today and words still being learned — counted exactly as the app does.
See your progress
Learned words, words in progress, your training streak and answer accuracy for the week.
Manage progress
Mark words you already know or start a word over — one at a time or a whole list at once.
Just ask
How to connect
Pick your assistant. Everywhere you will be asked to sign in on the Vibeling page — with a code from the app or by creating a new account.
ChatGPT
- In ChatGPT on the web open Settings → Apps (in some accounts: Connectors) → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode.
- Press Create, name it Vibeling, paste the server address and choose OAuth for authentication.
- A Vibeling page opens: enter the code from the app or create a new account. Then turn on Vibeling in a chat via the + menu.
ChatGPT marks custom connectors as unverified — that is expected. Developer mode is not available on every plan; menu names at OpenAI change from time to time.
Claude
- In claude.ai open Settings → Connectors and press Add custom connector.
- Name it Vibeling, paste the server address and press Add, then Connect.
- Sign in on the Vibeling page. The connector also appears in the Claude desktop and mobile apps.
On Team and Enterprise plans an organisation admin may need to allow custom connectors.
Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http vibeling https://mcp.vibeling.app
- Run the command in your terminal.
- In Claude Code type /mcp, pick vibeling and choose Authenticate — the Vibeling page opens in your browser.
Codex
codex mcp add vibeling --url https://mcp.vibeling.app codex mcp login vibeling
- Run the commands in your terminal: the first adds the server, the second opens the Vibeling sign-in page.
- Start a new Codex session — the Vibeling tools are there.
Cursor
- Press the button, confirm in Cursor, then press Connect next to vibeling in Settings → MCP.
VS Code
- Press the button, confirm in VS Code and start the server — it asks you to sign in to Vibeling.
Signing in
With the app
In Vibeling open Profile → Settings → My devices → “Connect a new device” and type the code on the sign-in page. The assistant appears in My devices; remove it there any time.
Without the app
Choose “Create a new account” on the sign-in page. Later ask the assistant for a code to open this account in the app.
Switch accounts
Want the assistant on another account? Take a code in that account’s app and ask the assistant to switch.
Works with Vibeling PRO
Connecting is free and the assistant can always read your profile. Adding words, tags, collections, reviews and stats through the assistant need Vibeling PRO.
Questions
What is MCP?
Model Context Protocol — an open standard that lets AI assistants use outside services. ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Codex and VS Code support it.
Does the assistant see my passwords or payments?
No. It only works with your vocabulary: words, tags, collections and learning progress. It cannot change your subscription or settings.
Does practising in the chat count in the app?
No. The assistant shows what is due and can quiz you, but progress in the app changes only through training in the app or when you ask the assistant to mark words as known or start them over.
Can it add many new words at once?
New words are added one by one: each card is prepared for you, so a long list takes a little time. Tags, collections and removing words work in bulk.
How do I disconnect the assistant?
In the app: Profile → Settings → My devices, then remove it. It stops working at once.
