Lessons

Besides your own vocabulary, VibeLing has a ready course: lessons with words and phrases chosen in advance. It answers the question of where to start when you have no words of your own yet. Lessons open from their own tab in the bottom bar.

How the course is built

There is a separate course for every language level, from beginner to advanced:

• Beginner (A1): first words and simple phrases
• Elementary (A2): everyday topics
• Intermediate (B1)
• Upper-intermediate (B2)
• Advanced (C1)

Units, lessons and checkpoints

A course is split into units, and a unit into lessons. Lessons are taken in order: the next one opens once the previous is done. At the end of a unit there is a checkpoint that mixes the words of all its lessons.

Every lesson shows how long it will take and which words it covers: what you will learn for the first time and what you will revisit.

What a lesson looks like

A lesson is a sequence of short steps. A new word is first shown with an image, a translation and audio, and then asked in different ways: choose the translation, choose the picture, recognise the word by ear, build a phrase, match pairs, decide whether a translation is right.

Getting it wrong is fine: the app shows the correct answer right away and moves on. A finished lesson can be retaken at any time.
