Working with Word Cards

A word card is a screen with detailed information about a word or phrase. You can open it from your dictionary or from search when you look for a new word.

What Is in a Word Card

On this screen, you can see:

• word translation
• example sentences
• word pronunciation

This helps you better understand the meaning of a word and how it is used in language.

Example Sentences

The card contains several example sentences with the word or phrase. Under each sentence, there is a "Show translation" button. Translation is hidden by default, so you can first try to understand the sentence by yourself.

Word and Sentence Audio

You can listen to:

• pronunciation of the word itself
• audio for example sentences

This helps reinforce listening perception and understand how the word is pronounced correctly.
