Learn words with pictures: a photo links the word to its meaning
A picture ties a word straight to its meaning, with no translating in your head. In VibeLing cards come with real photos, and the game and lessons train you to recognise a word from an image.
Where pictures show up in VibeLing
A photo on the card
Each word card gets a photo — you see it on the card, in your vocabulary and in word sets.
The Guess the picture game
10 photos, 10 seconds each: recognise the word and pick it from four options. Points for speed and a high score.
Pictures in lessons
A lesson first shows a new word with a picture, then asks you to choose the right picture for the word.
Your own picture
On a card of your own you can set your own image — one that will stick for you.
How to start
-
Add words to your vocabulary — your own or from themed sets.
-

Questions and answers
Is this for kids?
No, VibeLing is for adults: real photos instead of drawings, with a translation, a definition and example sentences next to them.
Do pictures help you remember words?
Especially concrete ones — objects, food, places: a picture ties the word straight to its meaning. Spaced repetition then keeps it from fading.
What if a picture doesn’t fit?
Flag it from the card menu: Report a mistake → picture. We check it and replace it for everyone. On a card of your own you can pick the picture yourself.
Which words end up in Guess the picture?
Ones that a photo can show well — mostly objects. The game takes words from your vocabulary and adds more from the shared dictionary.
Is it free?
Yes: card photos, Guess the picture and lessons with pictures are in the free version; some lessons open with Pro.
