Every word in VibeLing has audio and a transcription. And during practice you say the word out loud: the app listens to the recording and scores it from 0 to 100, so you know right away whether you are understood.
How the app helps with pronunciation
Audio for every word
Listen to any word. The voice speaks slightly slower than normal, so every sound is easier to catch.
Transcription
Next to each word is its transcription, showing which sounds it is made of and where the stress falls.
Say-it-aloud exercise
See the translation, say the word. A neural network listens to the recording and scores it: 75 out of 100 passes, and you get three tries.
Words by ear
In the listening exercise the word plays while the spelling is hidden: you recognise it by sound, as in real speech.
How the exercise goes

How does the app score pronunciation?
A neural network listens to the recording and compares it with the word you were meant to say. The score runs from 0 to 100, and 75 counts as a pass.
Do I need a microphone?
Yes, the app asks for microphone access. The recording is used only to score the word you said.
Can I turn the pronunciation exercise off?
Yes, in the training settings — for example, if you practise somewhere you can’t speak aloud. The other exercises keep going.
Whose voice is in the audio?
A neural voice, a separate one for each language. It sounds natural and speaks a little slower than normal pace.
Is it free?
Yes, the audio and the pronunciation exercise are in the free version.
